Luxor Pyramid, 20" x 16", Original acrylic alpine painting, backcountry ski art

This painting captures a quiet, powerful moment in the Alaskan backcountry. Bootpacking along a narrow alpine ridge beneath a vast, shifting sky. Two figures move upward through snow and shadow, dwarfed by the scale of the mountain and energy of the terrain around them.

Painted in bold blues ans high contrast light, this piece leans into movement, elevation, and the raw feeling of being out there: where effort meets exposure and the landscape takes over. Inspired by time spent traveling through this remote winter environment, reflecting both the physical challenge and the stillness found in high places.

This is a statement piece for those drawn to mountains, skiing, snowboarding, and the deeper pull of the backcountry.
