The Herd - Original Watercolor & Ink Bison Painting, 11" x 14" Western Wildlife Art

Framed- 16.5" x 20.5"

This piece follows a group of bison moving through Western Montana. Built with watercolor washes and ink linework, the piece balances structure and looseness, capturing both the weight of the animals and the openness of the landscape around them.

Rooted in time spent in wild spaces, this painting reflects the rhthym of animals on land and the scale of the environments they move through. The subdues palette and texture marks create depth without overworking the scene, allowing the subject to feel both present and unforced.

A grounded, nature driven piece suited for collectors drawn to wildlife, Western landscapes, and work that holds a sense of place.
